- What would it mean to finish the document? What are the uses
you might put it to? How would it affect the job you do?
- Should the document be longer and more detailed? What specific
points should be included if it expanded?
- Should the document be written in an entirely different voice?
- What theories do you see informing the document; what rhetorical
problems do those theoretical influences raise within the profession,
and how do we address them?
- How much attention should this statement pay to the technologies
for writing? To what extent, in particular, do newer technologies
need to be foregrounded in a statement about outcomes for first-year
composition?
