Credibility of online materials: how do we know it is reputable?

How do we replicate "peer review" and the cachet it offers?

And how do we represent at the site(s) that this is credible, making visible the process . . . .

Some / many of us are not comfortable with the (seemingly ) less formal context for sharing writing

Patience: "rhizomatic" pattern of participation and learning about the possibility

Can we make this "intrinsically" valuable for the individuals (and maybe for us as a "profession")

--gb: do we have professional obligation to participate in any of these ventures . . .?  what do we mean by "profession(al)"?

CompPortal --- we need one

Can we make public some of the "review" work that is already being done by award committees, peer reviewers, MS reviewers, etc.

"What's in it for me?": grad students already write this stuff

Can we find easy ways to "rate" submissions in reliable way?

Do we need more peer review processes?

How many other ways can we value this work.

Instead of "peer review" maybe we think about "notice"?

Also, how to use current tech tools (rss widgets) to push info to users

"Dump work in grad students lap"!!  How do we ensure that the "labor" issues are handled ethically and responsibly, and equitably.

Our local situations may offer us opportunities to explain / frame our work as professionals in ways that will show its value (frame via Boyer, WPA statements, etc.)

Value of preserving "local" knowledge . . . what's in my file cabinet that could be useful for others . . . ?

Connect "local" and national . . .

Ownership of knowledge  and ownership of access . . . .
