While preparing for TAAS my English classes along with my study session classes were hectic. From freshman year to sophomore year in high school my English teachers would have to hurry the normal class plans they had ready for the day in order to make time for TAAS study. Also in my study session classes all we would do for the whole thirty-five minutes of class was write answers to short-answer questions complete worksheets that included anywhere from twenty questions to a mind-boggling forty-five questions and actually have homework for a class that really wasn't a class. I used to be forced to stay up late at night just so I could study for my English class because since my teachers didn't have that much time on their hands they never gave me time to work on english stuff in class nor had the time to fully explain the work they just gave me.

Basically TAAS wasn't a fun experience. All the late hours of studying and constant homework-taking made my life boring but it all paid off in the end. I received a bad grade on my practice TAAS test but a really good grade on my real TAAS test. My grade on my real test was good enough that I didn't need to take the TASP test so that was a good thing because I didn't want to go through with the TASP test like the stuff I went through on the TAAS test.

Yeah the TAAS test was dumb! I remember not learning anything in my english and algebra class until the TAAS was done with. My entire sophomore year was based on TAAS and nothing else. so it was really dumb and I think that it should be done with. I never understood why they made such a big deal out of it its not like its hard. So yeah the test is dumb.
